Connor L. Poole

Media Assistant

Bio/About Me

Hello! My name is Connor Poole and I am the Media Assistant at West Middle School. In 2025, I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor's Degree in History/Secondary Education. I have since held positions as the Curator of the Rankin Museum of American Heritage and as an Experience Facilitator for Discovery Place Kids.

I am a native of Troy, North Carolina and a proud product of Montgomery County Schools. I, myself attended West Middle School from 2015-2018 and my experience was a major contributor to my career in education. My wonderful wife, Faith, and I now reside in Mt. Gilead, North Carolina among a large and close-knit family.

An avid reader and collector of books, I've had a lifelong passion for literacy and few things bring me more joy than to see students pick up a good story. I firmly believe when children develop strong reading skills, they gain confidence, build knowledge, and open the door to academic success in every subject.

I look forward to working with you!

~ Mr. Poole
